GIGASUN lamps have been created to reproduce the artificial sun. They provide great UVB which allow reptiles to produce vitamin D3 essential for calcium absorption. They also provide an essential heat source for your animal. In case of regular use of 10 to 12 hours a day, it is recommended to change the light bulb every 12 months. To avoid misuse of the lamp, it is not recommended to connect it to a thermostat. It is essential to place the lamp in a ventilated area to find safety. Be careful, the lamp gets very hot and an E27 ceramic socket must be used for the lamps. In order to avoid all risks of burns, make sure that your animal cannot reach that lamp. As these lamps contain some mercury, it is recommended that they be recycled at the collection point.
