The aluminum reflector increases the light as well as the output UVA and UVB rays significantly. The bulb socket is made of heat resistant ceramic that can accommodate compact fluorescent or incandescent bulbs (PT2348: max: 75 W / PT 2349: Max 160 W).
The light can be easily turned on or off with the on/off switch located on the cord attached to an extra long (180cm) cord. Combine different lamp holders with different bulbs to create the perfect lighting in your terrarium.
