• Our lamp emits UVA and UVB rays that are essential for the well-being of your animal. UVA rays increase activity, appetite and mating. UVB rays promote the synthesis of vitamin D3 and the metabolism of calcium to prevent or cure bone diseases.

• The lamp emits beneficial UVB rays to the animal up to a distance of 30 cm. We recommend that you place it inside your terrarium. Glass and plastic block UVB rays and the top grill blocks up to 50% of UVB rays.

• We recommend that you change it every 8 months for maximum UVB intake.

• Use with electronic ballast (reduced consumption and elimination of flicker).
