thermal blankets

We have 5 blanket sizes: 5w, 7w, 14w, 20w, 28w, 35w and 45w with measurements of 15x14cm, 15x28cm, 28x28cm, 28x42cm, 28x56cm, 28x65cm and 28x80cm respectively.

The placement of the blankets must be inside the terrarium with a glass plate on top or a tile. One of the characteristics of PVC is its great capacity for thermal insulation. When placing it indoors, we recommend the use of a thermostat, in this way not only do we not worry about temperature control, but we also avoid possible burns of our reptile.

It is not a valid heat source to heat the entire volume, they heat certain areas and specifically the surface/substrate.

Heat blankets are sometimes recommended as a universal solution to heating problems in reptile terrariums.

They provide very little direct radiant heat and can thus affect the reptile's thermoregulation if there is no other source of support. In certain reptiles that require milder temperatures, it may be enough.

Some reptiles that support lower temperatures in the substrate are prone to burn if the temperature is not controlled with a thermostat, this is the case of turtles, for example, on the other hand, for some snakes or geckos its use is ideal.

They are a great option together with the thermal cables to install them in incubators.
