The Infrared Basking Spot Nano Exo Terra bulb emits infrared heat waves and is an excellent 24-hour heat source for smaller terrariums like the Exo Terra Mini and NANO terrariums. The gentle infrared heat produced by the special filament in this bulb penetrates deep into the animal's skin, muscles, nerves and bones.

The Infrared Basking Spot Nano has a reflector built into the bulb itself that makes it possible to point it towards a specific area to create temperature gradients and a hot spot in the terrarium, so reptiles can thermoregulate. When used as a 24-hour heat source, the reddish light will not disturb the animal's physiological activities while allowing observation of nocturnal or crepuscular reptiles, amphibians, or invertebrates.
